Lepanto PX brandy is a brandy from Spain. The rare and utter innovation of Lepanto PX consists on its ageing system. Gonzalez Byass uses the Solera System during an ageing period of over 15 years in oak casks previously filled with sherry wines. During the last five years, Lepanto PX matures in casks previously seasoned with Noe, probably the finest Pedro Ximenez. Just the excellent wood porosity of the American oak casks previously used for Noe, gives Lepanto PX its rare smoothness, elegance and extraordinary sweet taste.
