Established in 1755, the House of Gautier is one of the oldest "maisons" of Cognac and has grown through 10 generations devoting time, care and skill to preserve and improve its reputation for tradition and quality. Gautier Cognac has acquired an expertise in selecting, aging and blending cognac from the four best cognac producing areas, Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois. This Gautier VSOP is a blend of fine cognac with a delicate aroma, creating a full bodied, rich and mature cognac. The warm golden color enriches the wonderful qualities, finesse and subtlety of this mature cognac.
This cognac has an amber color. The aroma is a subtle bouquet of vanilla with perfumes of dried fruit and of eloquence. The taste is well balanced and is a rich cognac. It has roundness in the mouth and lingering aromas, with fresh flavors whether drank with ice or mixed.
