Charles Clement d' Or 2 Years is a rum from Martinique that is matured in ancient casks. According to the texts relating to the Controlled Label of origin Martinique of November 1996, this rum is known as "high under wood" and must remain for a minimal period of one year in wood lightning. Clement d' Or 2 Years rum ages in the wood lightnings during 18 months during which it acquires a yellow color and flavors characteristic of this type of ageing. Charles Clement rum has hints of vanilla and wood on the palate. It is only after this stage of "maturation" that they carry out 6 months of slow and progressive reduction to bring it to its 50° alcohol content.
